How much does 200-hour yoga teacher training cost in the UK in 2027?
Most in-person 200-hour yoga teacher trainings in London and Essex for 2026 to 2027 cost between £2,900 and £3,250 at full price. Early bird rates bring some down to £2,700, and one London course charges £3,900. Online-only courses start at about £1,950. A residential course abroad costs £3,250 to £5,400 once accommodation is included.

What the course fee covers
Lotus Love Yoga's price includes tuition and the course manual. Before you book anywhere, ask whether the fee also covers:
- Books on the reading list.
- Make-up sessions. Some schools need 100% attendance, so ask what happens if you miss a weekend.
Extra costs to budget for
- Yoga Alliance registration. After you graduate you can register as an RYT 200. Yoga Alliance charges a $50 application fee and $65 a year, so $115 in the first year, paid in US dollars.
- Insurance. Most venues ask for proof of public liability insurance before you teach. Prices depend on the provider and the level of cover.
- Travel. On a weekend course you travel to every module, so a school close to home costs less over ten months.
Deposits and payment plans
The deposits we found ranged from £500 to £825. The rest is usually split into monthly payments. Where a school states it, the deposit is non-refundable.

Lotus Love Yoga's Yoga Alliance accredited 200-hour training runs in Colchester, Essex. It is ten monthly weekend modules, from 9 January to 9 October 2027.
